当地时间2013年4月7日，泰国曼谷，泰国军队进行征兵抽签，其中不乏变性人“人妖”的身影。根据泰国法律，凡满21岁的泰国役男，包括变性人必须向征兵单位报到，此前泰国军方以“心理异常”为由发给变性人免服兵役证书，现在将此类人群列为“胸部畸形”，将已经隆乳、留长发、女性化行为的男子免服兵役。[CRI]
