欧氏尖吻鲛最显著的特征是一个向前突起的尖吻。科学家推测，欧氏尖吻鲛的行动很迟钝，并不活跃。曾经有一条欧氏尖吻鲛被带到日本的一家水族馆，不过很快就死亡了。
