    高翠兰的扮演者魏慧丽出生于1955年，她的本职工作是京剧演员。工京剧荀派花旦表演，启蒙老师为孟丽君，先后师从俞砚霞、尚长林、李玉茹等诸多名家。除了《西游记》，她还在系列水浒人物电视剧《水浒》中饰演“阎婆惜”、《三国演义》“宛城之战”中饰演“邹氏”等。
