伦敦地铁有些站点有“自杀坑”，用来保护那些跳下地铁想自杀又突然想活着的人。

原因：伦敦地铁在19世纪开通以后成为了当地自杀用地。从1940年起，地铁站的自杀率为每年25人，而1980年之后增加为每年100人。
