| 玛旁雍错湖，地处西藏自治区阿里地区普兰县，湖面海拔4588米，湖水面积412平方公里，湖水最大深度81.8米，总蓄水约200亿立方米。它是我国海拔最高、面积最大、蓄水最多的淡水湖。玛旁雍错素来有“圣湖”之称，在佛教、印度教等宗教里拥有重要地位，每年都会吸引中国、印度、尼泊尔等地的众多朝圣者以及普通游客。[中国网 张露露 摄] Lake Manasarovar is located in Purang County, Ngari Prefecture of the Tibet Autonomous Region, China. It lies 4,588 meters above sea level and covers 412 square kilometers, making it the largest and highest freshwater lake in China. The lake has long been known as a sacred lake as it is an important place for Buddhism, Hinduism and other religions.
