Suzhou holds exhibition of handicraft works

编者按：日前，“品苏——苏作手艺展”在苏州美术馆举行，展览展出40多位苏州本土艺术家创作的苏绣、核雕、古琴、苏扇、紫砂壶、宋锦、缂丝、玉雕、竹刻、根雕等作品百余件，让观众通过苏作的呈现，品味苏州的精致生活，零距离感受传统工艺的魅力。“品苏——苏作手艺展”由苏州市公共文化中心主办，展览将持续至11月27日。

Editor's note: An exhibition of exquisite Suzhou-style handicraft works is being held at the art gallery of the beautiful city in east China's Jiangsu Province. More than 100 pieces produced by over 40 folk artisans are on display, containing embroidery, fruit pit carving, jade carving, bamboo carving, tree-root carving, ancient musical instruments, fans, ornate Boccaro teapot, silk weaving, and imitation Song Dynasty (960-1279) brocade. Sponsored by the Suzhou Municipal Center of Public Culture, the exhibition closes on Nov. 27.
