在精准扶贫中，湖南省供销合作总社利用旗下省茶业集团优势，为农民增收打造了一个重要渠道。

湖南茶产业基地主要分布在武陵山脉、罗霄山脉等地区。李云才不仅身体力行搞调研、抓产业、授技术，还经常为湘茶代言、为茶农发声。

去年早春，他在罗霄山脉茶叶扶贫基地，发现一种病害居然在早春就发生了。他果断请各路专家视频“会诊”，一举挽回了损失。

受疫情影响，湖南多地出现茶叶销售难。李云才及时发起“网上喝茶”活动，通过线上影视与线下展览相结合，利用省供销总社仓储体系，促进了产品销售和农民增收。

开展茶产业帮扶以来，省供销系统已在全省帮助20万户、50多万贫困人口脱贫，人均茶叶收入在4000元以上。在湘西自治州，茶产业占产业扶贫比重达73%，成为名副其实的“黄金茶”“扶贫茶”。
