A four-day cultural event focusing on Hong Kong heritage will be
held in Vancouver to strengthen Hong Kong's cultural ties with
Canada and promote the city's heritage to the Canadian community,
the Hong Kong government announced Thursday.
Jointly organized by Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in
Canada (HKETO) and the Canadian Cancer Society of British
Columbia," Hong Kong Cultural Heritage Celebrations" will be held
over Chinese New Year in Vancouver.
The highlights of the Hong Kong celebrations are martial arts,
Cantonese opera performances and a Hong Kong Heritage
Exhibition.
A 70-member Hong Kong delegation led by Hong Kong's Secretary
for Home Affairs, Patrick Ho will fly to Vancouver as the city's
Goodwill Ambassadors to send their greetings to the people in
Vancouver.
