Handball Official Impressed by Beijing's Changes

Secretary General of the International Handball Federation Raymond Hahn said "everything has changed since I last visited Beijing in 1993".

He made the remarks during his present inspection tour of the candidate city of the 2008 Olympic Games Wednesday. He was surprised by the new look that Beijing has turned on since he visited the city seven years ago.

During his inspection, Hahn also expressed satisfaction over Beijing's preparatory work for its Olympic bid.

After reviewing the planning of the Olympic handball competition in Beijing, he said the city has developed a much more ideal plan of the handball competition that those of the Atlanta and Sydney Olympics.

Hahn also noted that Toronto has done a good job in its preparatory work and hopes that Beijing will continue to make improvement.
