The presidium of the ongoing Second Session of the 10th National People's Congress (NPC), China's parliament, held its second meeting Friday.

The meeting was presided over by Wu Bangguo, executive chairman of the presidium.

Wang Zhaoguo, another executive chairman of the presidium made a report on the deliberation results by NPC deputies on the draft amendment to the Constitution

The presidium voted to submit the report on the deliberation results by NPC deputies on the draft amendment to the Constitution as well as the revised version of the draft amendment to all delegations for deliberation.

The executive chairman of the presidium also put forward a draft resolution on the government work report, which was then voted by the presidium to be submitted to all delegations for deliberation and for vote at plenary session.

The presidium heard examination reports by the NPC Financial and Economic Committee on national economic and social development plan and budget, and voted to adopt the two examination reports.
