Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan arrived in Kiev late Monday for a four-day official visit to Ukraine.
During his visit, Tang Jiaxuan is expected to meet with Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, Parliamentary Speaker Ivan Pliusch and First Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov.
He will hold talks with his Ukrainian counterpart, Anatoly Zlenko, on international issues as well as the relations between the two countries in various spheres.
During his stay in Ukraine, the Chinese minister is also expected to visit Crimea and meet with the leadership of the Autonomous Republic.
Ukraine is the second leg of Tang Jiaxuan's three-nation European tour, which has already taken him to the Czech Republic and will take him to Russia.
