Tourism departments from China, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand will join hands to improve tourism service for Chinese tourists in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
This was learned from a minister-level meeting held by the countries in Kunming, capital city of southwest China's Yunnan province.
The four countries will nominate a number of travel agencies with good reputation to organize and host tour groups; and these agencies are required to sign quality guarantees with the tourism departments in their own countries.
Embassies of Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand in China will be strict in providing visas for Chinese tourists. The three countries will open special stores for Chinese tourists. Detailed tour schedules will be known before the tour groups set off.
The four countries will handle complaints from tourists and severely punish travel agencies that engage in illegal business operations.
