The Chinese people have always adopted a resolute and clear attitude whenever the Dalai Lama is exploited for anti-China activities, a Tibetan Living Buddha said in Washington Friday.
Responding to a question at a press conference, Living Buddha Jamyang Losang Jigme Tubdain Qoigyi Nyima said: "The Dalai Lama issue is related to the integrity of the Chinese territory and his separatist activities deeply hurt the feelings of the Chinese people."
"We the Chinese people are firmly against any attempt to use the Dalai Lama issue for anti-China activities," the Living Buddha stated.
It goes against the purpose of the Millennium World Peace Summit of religious and spiritual leaders to be held in New York on August 28 if the Dalai Lama, a separatist and turmoil-maker, is invited to attend, he said.
Jamyang is a member of a Chinese religious leaders delegation that is here for a goodwill visit to the United States and will attend the millennium summit in New York.
