State Councilor Wu Yi Met with Foreign Ministers of the Rio Group

On August 1, State Councilor Wu Yi met with Foreign Ministers Guillermo Fernandez de Soto of Columbia, Rosario Green of Mexico and Soledad Alvear of Chile. The two sides exchanged views on economic cooperation and trade between China and the Latin American countries.
State Councilor Wu extended warm congratulations on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of political dialogue relations between China and the Rio Group. She said China pays great attention to its dialogue and cooperation with the Rio Group, and wishes to expand the relations with the Rio Group in the political, economic, scientific and technological areas in the new century.
