The selection standard is based on the average point of 9 items: management quality, product and service, creativity, long-term investment value, financial strength, ability to attract, train and keep talents, social responsibility and assets usage status, response sensitivity to global business.

It is learnt the selection was conducted jointly by Fortune and Hai Consulting Group. They divided global giant companies into 27 industry categories, and selected several companies as global most appreciated companies for each industry.
