Fan Liang, also an F37 CP athlete, was given back his gold medal in the men's discus throw event held Sunday, after complaints filed against him by other athletes were ruled invalid.

In swimming, He Junquan and Yin Jianhua added two gold medals to China's tally while Xue Lanmei proved to be the best in women's +70 kilograms judo event.

China also won the wheelchair fencing men's team foil title.

In overall medal standings, China was followed by Britain (9-6-7), Australia (7-9-9) and Spain (7-9-6).

After dominating the first day of competition with three gold medals in wheelchair fencing, Hong Kong maintained its astounding lead in the sport, capturing two more gold medals in the women's foil Category A competition. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region now stands fifth in the medal rankings.
