Chinese mainland and Hong Kong are both listed in the top 10 tourism destinations for 2004 according to a figure released by World Tourism Organization.
More than 41 million tourists traveled to China's mainland last year overshadowing Italy to become the world's fourth largest tourism destination.
A record number of 21.8 million of tourists visited Hong Kong last year, ranking it seventh on the list. It is also the first time Hong Kong appeared among the top 10.
France is still leading the world tourism, followed by Spain and the United States.
