The US and Japanese delegations arrived in Beijing Monday evening to attend the second round of six-party talks on the nuclear issue of the Korean Peninsula.
The US delegation is headed by James Kelly, assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific affairs, while Mitoji Yabunaka, director-general of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Japanese Foreign Ministry, heads the Japanese delegation.
The talks are to open on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
