15 Chinese companies have been listed in the Fortune Global 500, five time that of the number ten years ago.
The newly listed companies include Shanghai Bao Steel Group and State Grid Corporation of China and the other two companies.
US retail giant Wal-Mart has topped the Fortune Global 500.
And US firms took half of the top 10, dominated by car makers and oil giants. British oil company BP grabbed second place in the list for the first time.
