Airport Authority Hong Kong announced Tuesday that flights to the United States and Canada from Hong Kong are not affected by the NY plane crash that killed at least 255 people and still kept in regular operations now.
However, it said passengers are advised to check with their
airlines on latest flight details before departing for the airport.
A Security Bureau spokesman also announced the Hong Kong
Special Administrative Region government will continue to monitor the development closely and keep in touch with the authorities concerned.
He said there is no indication at present that the incident
will affect the safety of Hong Kong and Hong Kong residents have
no cause for panic.
