Tsingtao Brewery Co., China's largest brewer, asked closely held Sanyo Whisbih Group of Taiwan to build the mainland company's first brewery on the island province.
Tsingtao said, it will provide Sanyo Whisbih with brewing information and the use of its name for the plant, which will be able to make 100,000 metric tons of beer a year.
