U.S. telecom giant Motorola Inc said on Tuesday it planned to spend $100 million on a research and development center in Beijing in a bid to tap the world's biggest mobile market.
"We plan to open the research and development center as part of efforts to make China one of our global research and manufacturing centers," a company executive said.
But there's no other details offered.
