Boost for China's Inbound Tourism in January
China's inbound tourists reached 8.48 million in January, up 14.54 percent compared with the same month last year.

Revenue from foreign tourism reached US$1.58 billion, up 12.48 percent compared with the same period in 2002.

Inbound tourist numbers from five continents all increased in January, with African tourists up 33.25 percent, and tourists from Oceania up 19.14 percent.

Among 15 major source nations for tourists, Indonesian tourists rose 50.73 percent, and Thai tourists 32.98 percent.
