China saw an impressive 27 percent growth in foreign trade for August, taking the country's total exports and imports to over US$520 billion during the first eight months of the year. 
 
China's total foreign trade in August was more than 72 billion US dollars.

This was the third month this year that China saw a total foreign trade volume in excess of 70 billion US dollars, after April and July.
