A symposium has taken place in Beijing ahead of the upcoming Olympics Economic Promo Meeting.

The two-day promo meeting, which will begin on April 18th, has taken as its theme the slogan "Invest in Beijing".

The meeting will recommend about 370 projects to foreign investors, with a total value of 700 million yuan or about US$88 million.

The projects will cover many sectors such as the construction of Olympic sites, the operation of the newly-built metro railway and environmental protection projects.
