The Nanning International Folk Song Festival ended Tuesday after five days of folk song performances, classic and modern dress shows and other folk arts activities.
According to the festival's organizing committee, the annual event has helped to play a significant role as an open window for Guangxi, a beautiful autonomous region in southwestern China.
Folk song singers from the 56 ethnic groups of China and a number of artists from some 10 countries or regions including the United States, France, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan attended the festival.
