Travelers to Hong Kong can vote for counter officers performing commendable immigration clearance service at Hong Kong's eight immigration control points from Nov. 22 to 28.
A courtesy campaign will be conducted at the eight immigration control points from Nov. 22 to 28, according to a government press release. The campaign aims to remind staff to deliver a courteous and efficient service to the public. It also helps promote Hong Kong tourism.
To vote, travelers should fill in their names and travel document or HK identity card numbers on the ballot forms bearing the officer's name.
Hong Kong Tourism Board is to launch a winter festival to attract more tourists here. About 2.49 million tourists are expected to visit Hong Kong between Nov. 26 and Jan. 2 when the festival is to be held. Statistics indicate that in the first nine months this year, 8.97 million Chinese mainland tourists visited Hong Kong, 59.3 percent up over last year's same period.
