Hong Kong will send a delegation of officials and experts to Beijing and Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province, to promote tourism, Hong Kong government announced here in Hong Kong Friday.
The "Discover the Hong Kong Magic" promotion will present a range of tourism attractions including Disneyland, the Symphony of Lights II program and Hong Kong Wetland Park.
Hong Kong has invested about US$4 billion in building tourism facilities in recent years to attract more tourists from the Asia-Pacific region, the Chinese mainland in particular.
Hong Kong received a record of 460,000 tourists from the mainland and profited HK$4 billion in the first week of May.
