A younger "brother" and elder "sister" decided to marry each other on Monday after they separated 30 years ago.

Zhang Xiaodong from Tangshan, who was injured in the 1976 quake, met Ma Shuyun, a nurse in Luoyang First People's Hospital of Henan Province when Zhang received treatment in her hospital that year.

This year, the 30th anniversary of the massive earthquake, Zhang visited Ma three times to express his gratitude and affection towards Ma, who is eight years older than him.

Both Zhang and Ma divorced several years ago. The two fell in love with each other recently and will marry in September.
