Precious Insect Rediscovered in Guizhou

An old insectology fan, Ran Qitang proudly displays his collection of the specimens of Cheirotonus jansoni, a beetle which was considered to have died out some 20 years ago. He collected these two specimens in the Moon Hill in Guizhou Province. The pictures were taken on January 21, 2007.
