Four people have been killed and 17 others injured after a storehouse under construction collapsed on Saturday morning in Kunming, capital of southwestern Yunnan Province.

The accident happened at around 9:37 AM on Saturday at the Guandu District. The victims are construction workers and local villagers, according to the city's work safety administration.

All the injured have been out of danger, said Ma Wen, deputy director of the city's public security bureau.

Investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
