One Chinese Mainlander Injured in Bali Blasts
One Chinese mainlander was injured in the Saturday blasts on Indonesia's Bali Island, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said in Beijing Tuesday.

In response to questions at a regular press conference, Zhang quoted a list of victims from hospitals provided by the Indonesian police.

She said the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia has sent officials to see the injured at the hospital and will continue to pay close attention to the incident and provide all necessary assistance. Officials from the embassy are also on Bali Island to investigate Chinese casualties, including Hong Kong and Macao residents and Taiwan compatriots.

Zhang said China is always opposed to terrorism in any form, strongly condemns the violent explosions, and deeply sympathizes with the victims and their families.

Chinese leaders have sent messages to Indonesian leaders to show their solicitude and expressed their support for the Indonesian government's efforts to combat terrorism.
