A recent poll shows that most people give their approval about the behavior of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) government.
Some 85 percent of those surveyed said they were satisfied with what the government did since the Macao SAR was founded in December last year.
The poll also indicated that 75 percent of local residents expressed their satisfaction about the policy address for 2001 delivered by the chief executive of the Macao SAR on November 9.
Made public on Wednesday, the poll had been conducted on November 11 and 12 via telephone by a host of researchers with the University of Macao. More than 700 people responded to inquiries.
