US warplanes renewed air raids early Monday on major Afghan cities and military targets, according to the Afghan Islamic Press (AIP).
In Herat, US warplanes bombed the airport, military base No.11 and other Taliban military facilities, killing at least two civilians, AIP reported.
In Kashindah, 102 kilometers south of northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif, one US bomb dropped on a civilian residence, killing six family members, it said.
According to AIP, US warplanes also pounded the Kabul airport and other military bases in the Afghan capital. At least three civilians were killed and four others injured, it said.
