Li Lanqing, a Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), met Tuesday with a delegation of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, headed by its first vice-chairman Valentin Kuptsov.
During the meeting, Li, also vice Premier of the State Council, extended the wish to further the exchanges between the two parties so as to contribute more to the friendship between the two countries and the two peoples.
Among those present at the meeting were Dai Bingguo, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Russian Ambassador to China Igor A. Rogachev.
