China and Russia Monday held the fourth round of regular consultations on strategic stability.
The talks in Moscow were co-chaired by Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Wang Guangya and his Russian counterpart Georgy Mamedov. The sides conducted an in-depth exchange of views on the present international security situation, and key issues in the fields of arms control and disarmament.
Both sides stressed the vital significance for the world's peace and security of preserving the existing systems of international arms control and disarmament as well as the global strategic balance.
They agreed to continue close consultation and cooperation on these issues.
