Foreign Minister Leaves for EALAF

Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan left Beijing Monday to attend the first ministerial meeting of the East Asia-Latin America Forum in Chilean capital Santiago.

Tang is invited by his Chilean and Singaporean counterparts, Maria Soledad Alvear Valenzuela and Shunmugam Jayakumar.

Tang will also pay an official visit to France at the invitation of hisFrench counterpart Hubert Vedrine after the forum.
