Vice-Premier Wen Jiabao urged China's financial circle Friday to take practical measures to improve their work style in accordance with the spirit of the just- concluded Sixth Plenum of the 15th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
Wen, also a member of the CPC Central Committee's Political Bureau, pointed out at a conference held by the Central Financial Working Committee that the work style improvement campaign of all financial institutions should be based on the strengthening of Party building, and the CPC members in the sector should act as models for other staff members.
CPC members, especially the leaders of China's financial circles, are required to broaden their minds, be practical and realistic in their work, unite the people to work harder, and abide by laws and regulations, Wen stressed.
All financial institutions should implement the decision which was passed at the plenum on strengthening and improving the building of the Party style to further the financial reforms, noted Wen.
