The Shanghai Health Supervision Institute announced yesterday that 15 percent of 100 spot-checked milk tea, fruit juice and ice cream products in 84 food factories, restaurants and supermarkets were substandard.
Among them, official said the bacteria content found in ice cream produced by Shanghai Xueke Food Co., Shanghai Xueqinyi Food Co. and Heyuandexuan Food Co. was five times the standard.
