China Eastern Airlines Wuhan Ltd. has inaugurated its first international flight on a new route linking Wuhan, the capital city of central China's Hubei Province, and the Thai capital, Bangkok.
The Wuhan-Bangkok charter flight, flown on Boeing 737-300 aircraft, had had a total of 18 flights by November last year, and may increase charter flights in tourist high seasons.
Staff with the company said the flight will mainly target tourists from neighboring Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, and Henan provinces.
A travel agency in Wuhan has booked 12 charter flights with Thai Airways, bringing flights the number of flights between Wuhanand Bangkok to 30 this year.
