Neolithic Graves Excavated in East China

A large group of Neolithic graves have recently been discovered in the county of Feixian in east China's Shandong Province.

So far, 10 graves as well as a hundreds of cultural relics including stone shovels and pots have been excavated.

The graves were found to contain either one person or a couple, according to experts.

Based on detailed research, experts assumed the graves were built during the late period of the Dawenkou Culture, a typical Chinese culture in the Neolithic Period.

The graves and relics will be highly conducive to the study of Chinese history, experts said.
