Beijing Shooting Range

Project Name: Beijing Shooting Range

Project Legal Person:
Shooting Center of the General Administration of Sport.

Project Venue:
No.3 (A), Futiansi Street, Shijingshan District, in former Shooting and Archery Center of the General Administration of Sports and newly requisitioned land of the south side.

Construction Scale:
Construction area of 45,645 square meters

Construction Content:
Shooting qualification halls, final hall, permanent bullet depot, Armed Police Room and relative outdoor matching facilities.

Construction Schedule:
It has started in July 2004 and will be completed in March 2007.

Project Purpose:
11 shooting events of the Olympic Games and all the shooting events of the Paralympic Games will be held here.

Utilization After Olympic Games:
Training base of No.1 and No.2 national shooting teams and youth training base, undertaking important international and domestic shooting competitions. Part of the range will be open to public and become base of national defense education, shooting activity promoting to common people and shooting museum publicizing Olympic spirits.

Project Progress:
The final hall has completed structure construction of the basement; the reinforced steel bar concrete construction of the preliminary contest hall has been completed by 2/3; the Armed Police room and bullet depot have completed structure ceiling and structure maintenance construction is in process. The general engineering is in orderly process.

Procurement Information: Sound absorption materials, stands seats, illumination equipments and so on.
