Project Name: Laoshan Cycling Velodrome

Project Legal Person: Olympic Grounds and Stadiums and National Team Training Facilities Construction Management Office of the General Administration of Sports

Project Venue: The project is located in west side of the newly requisitioned land of the Chinese Cycling and Fencing Administration Center of the General Administration of Sports in Shijingshan District, Beijing. In the west of the project is a speedy road - the 5th Ring. A planned urban trunk line - Laoshan Beilu in the north, and planned Laoshan Nanlu in the south side.

Construction Scale: The construction area is 32,920 square meters.

Construction Schedule: The project has started construction in October 2004 and will be completed on June 30, 2007.

Project Purpose: It will undertake cycling events of the Olympic Games.

Utilization After Olympic games: It will be mainly used to offer improved service for sportsperson training and contest. Laoshan Cycling Field and other facilities in the center will offer body shaping, leisure, recreation and catering services to the neighboring residents.

Project Progress: The foundation construction of the main building has been generally completed at the end of 2004. It is planned to complete the steel structure construction of the roof in November 2005. Currently the project has started the public bidding invitations for equipment and materials and procurement actions.

Procurement Information:
Indoor decoration engineering: metal ceramic tiles and floor tiles, antiskid floor tiles, carper, anti-static movable flooring etc.

Electric engineering: Dry-type transformers, high-voltage circle net wire-in cabinets, low-voltages switch cabinets, floor-type power distribution cabinets and built-in fluorescent lamps etc.

Outdoor decoration engineering: series 180 glass curtain walls, series 45 aluminum alloy flat-open doors and granite etc.

Room surface engineering: Aluminum alloy control plates and glass lighting sheds etc.

Water supply, drainage, solar energy and daily-sue hot water: Desktop face washers, showers, stainless steel water tanks, electrical water heaters etc.

Grey water and directly drinking water engineering: direct water drinker and water pots, grey water frequency conversion control boxes, grey water frequency conversion water supply pumps, grey water assembly water boxes, ultraviolet sterilizers etc.

Fire control engineering: fore control pumps, fire control pressure adding and stabilizing installations, air storage containers and fire extinguishers.

Ventilation and air conditioning engineering: combination air conditioning sets, electric bisection multi-shutter adjusting valves, fire control valves, cabinet-type centrifugal wind blower fans, manual bisection multi-shutter adjusting valves, fire control valves, cabinet-type centrifugal winds blower fans, manual bisection multi-shutter adjusting valves, dust filters, filtering absorbers, smoke ventilators, centrifugal refrigerators, water cooling circulation pumps, outdoor air conditioners, square air diffusers etc.
