The famous All Japan Airways Corporation apologized to four Chinese passengers Thursday afternoon in this capital of central China's Hubei Province for its bad service.
On January 1, Liu Liang of the Central China University of Science and Technology and three other Chinese passengers returned to China from the United States. They changed airplanes and boarded the NH905 flight of the All Japan Airway Corporation at Narita Airport.
The flight could not land in Beijing due to a sandstorm there. After turning back to Narita Airport, the four passengers asked for service of accommodation, but their requests were refused by the company and disregarded at the airport.
According to related laws, the Chinese passengers made complaints on the matter to the provincial consumers' association of Hubei.
After four months of intermediation efforts made by the association and some lawyers, the Japanese company agreed to apologize to the consumers and pay them a certain amount of compensation.
Over the past 10 years, China Consumers' Association has handled more than 300 foreign-related complaints.
