Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei, leading a 10-member high-level Chinese delegation, arrived in Kathmandu yesterday for a three-day visit to Nepal.
The Chinese delegation is scheduled to hold separate meetings with Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister K.P. Sharma Oli and Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat on various issues of bilateral interest and mutual concern, according to the Foreign Ministry of Nepal.
During the visit, the delegation will also meet Madhav Kumar Nepal, general secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal United Marxist and Leninist, and Sher Bahadur Deuba, president of Nepali Congress Democratic Party.
