Hong Kong actress-singer Sammi Cheung released her live CD on Thursday which has received more than ten thousand orders.
The pop star, who has not graced the stage in almost three years, held eight single concerts titled "Show Mi 2007" in Hong Kong during May. As the demand for concert tickets was enormous, Cheng's company decided to release her concert album.
Now the sound of Sammi finally comes alive again with this concert album, in which her new Canto-pop hit "ai qing wan sui" (Long Live Love) is included.
In the package there are also some letters from her father to her, letters she wrote to herself, and a DVD recording the dribs and drabs of the rehearsal for the concerts.
Just having a short rest after the concert, Sammi Cheung now gets around the clock again, as she is going to hold another solo concert in Shanghai on October 20.
"I haven't met fans in Shanghai for so long, so I dare not slack off. I have started body-building, in order to show a perfect me as it comes," the star said.
