A research report on China's futures market has been published recently, providing insight into China's futures market, which has been undergoing reform over the past five years.
The report was composed by futures and law experts, and futures professionals from futures exchanges and major broker houses nationwide under the sponsorship of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC).
It touches on the theories of futures and risk control and China's accounting, taxation and civil law systems in relation to the futures sector.
At a ceremony for the publishing of the report held here Friday, Kang Huanjun, deputy director of the CSRC's Futures Department, said that sponsoring the compilation of the report represents part of the regulators' efforts in strengthening its investigative function, improving its regulatory efficiency and enhancing its services to investors and brokers.
Proposals forwarded in the report have already had an impact on the operation of the futures market and the government's policies, he said.
