Three Gorges Reservoir Not to Affect Atmosphere
The annual temperature will rise by 0.2 degrees centigrade and the aquatic organisms will move from a river community to a lake community after the Three Gorges reservoir is made, according to a report by the Chongqing environmental science institute.

The reservoir will not bring major changes to the atmosphere and human health. However, it will exercise major changes in the life of fishes.

The study was done in collaboration with Chongqing University, the city's urban utilities administration and Chongqing Normal Institute.

The study shows that it still is necessary to clear the reservoir bed and the grass and trees on the shoreline so as to cut the channels for the transmissions of diseases.
