Mainland indie rock band "Super VC" is to release a song called "Don't be Afraid". But their imminent disbandment means it will probably be their last.
The rock outfit, made up of four young Chinese boys, was established in 1996. Their clean cut image and laid back singing style prompted many insiders to hail them as the next big thing. In May, however, it was announced that they would be going their separate ways.
One member, Sun Lingsheng (vocal/guitar) said although the song he composed is the last one for the band, he will continue to pursue his musical career.
