Foreign Teachers Introduced Into Shanghai Kindergartens

"I'm right!" A girl feels excited when she gets the right answer in an English quiz given by her English teacher, Patricia Collins from England, at a Shanghai kindergarten.

Though there are thousands of foreigners teaching English nationwide, there are few such teachers in kindergartens. The introduction of foreign teachers into kindergartens is geared to creating a good environment for English studies and to fostering children's interest in learning the language.
